  Uneducated in current up to date findings, inexperienced in proceedings, inefficient, and closeminded. The unprofessional assumptions made by court officials are damaging and destructive. I will say that Ms. Brady is an excellant public defender, and i hope this is because she studies Law, and chooses to be well informed about the field she is in. Again she was the exception to the rule when it came to court officials for me There needs to be a major overhaul of the Superior Court here . so much waste and dereliction of duty. God Forbid,

  This is the Sonoma County courthouse, located in Santa Rosa, where you go to resolve most DUI arrests, as well as other kinds of criminal (and civil) cases in Sonoma County. Traffic, probation, jury services, and court administration are also located here. Family Court is on the other side of the freeway next to Empire College. The criminal court staff is the most pleasant in the building, knowledgeable and helpful to attorneys and defendants, particularly at the criminal clerk’s office, which is located on the first level inside the courtyard, where you can go to get information and documentation about your case. The Sonoma County Superior Court judges are elected and serve at the will of the people of Sonoma County, and are generally perceived by Sonoma County DUI lawyers as bright and tough but fair.

  The Sonoma County Courthouse is the epicenter of the Sonoma County Administrative Offices along Administrative Drive. Also in the area is the Sheriff's Main Adult Detention Facility, the Sheriff's Department, the Law Library, the District Attorney's Office, the Public Defender's Office, the Sonoma County Probation Office and all other Country-related business. Most important is the Clerk's offices are also located here for Criminal cases as well as Civil cases. The clerks are terrific at helping people needing information and assisting attorneys in filing motions and getting client information. There are computers located in their offices where you can check the status of present and past cases for everyone that has ever been through the system. Across the street on Cleveland Avenue near and adjacent to Empire Law School are the Civil Courtrooms and the Family Law Center.
